Sample flyer to ask people if they’d like their fruit harvested: Picking flyer
You’re welcome to borrow it or come and use it at its (current) home in Wood Vale N10. Here’s a link to a similar one being used on YouTube.
Best to book in the busy season.
There’s always lots of interest in drying fruit & other produce, but it’s nice to experiment with a dehydrator before you decide to buy one. We have both a top-of-the-range and bottom-of-the-range one for you to borrow.
Remember they’ll be very popular in autumn, so the earlier you book, the better.
- The Avenue Orchard community project in N15 has generously lent their lovely Excalibur 9-Tray Dehydrator. Particularly useful for holding workshops.
- We have a Westfalia Food Dehydrator you’re welcome to borrow too. They seem to be the cheapest, but so far it’s proved to be robust and useful.
Apple pickers & ladders
Gemma owns a few different pickers which you are welcome to borrow and try out. This one from burgonandball.com is great. Also a couple of good ladders are available.
