Apple press

Nov N10: Apple Press pressing apples! We have this model of apple press , courtesy of a grant application by Transition Crouch End and money from Thornton’s Budgens.

You’re welcome to borrow it or come and use it at its (current) home in Wood Vale N10. Here’s a link to a similar one being used on YouTube

Best to book in the busy season.

Dehydrators

There’s always lots of interest in drying fruit & other produce, but it’s nice to experiment with a dehydrator before you decide to buy one. We have both a top-of-the-range and bottom-of-the-range one for you to borrow.

Remember they’ll be very popular in autumn, so the earlier you book, the better.

Read More about dehydrating here.

Apple pickers & ladders

Gemma owns a few different pickers which you are welcome to borrow and try out. This one from burgonandball.com is great. Also a couple of good ladders are available.
